Weird Al Yankovic (born Alfred Matthew Yankovic in Downey, California on October 23, 1959) is a multiple Grammy-winning American singer/songwriter, parodist, record producer and music video director. He is famous for making fun of popular culture and specific songs through parodic music videos and songs. He also performs polka medleys of contemporary songs on the accordion. Yankovic has sold over 12 million albums, and has four Grammy Awards as well as six platinum and four gold records. His latest album, 2014’s Mandatory Fun, went number one in its first week of release. As of March 2015, Yankovic is currently on an international tour.

Weird Al Yankovic is best known for writing and performing the parody songs “White & Nerdy”, “Word Crimes” and “Like a Surgeon”, among others.
Personal Life:
Yankovic graduated from his high school as valedictorian, and attended California Polytechnic State University to study architecture. At college, Yankovic had a radio show, and earned the nickname “Weird Al”. Yankovic is married to Suzanne Krajewski and they have a daughter, Nina.
