On Monday, March 1st Reformation launched Ref Active, the brand’s first-ever activewear collection. Much like Reformation’s clothes, Ref Active is made for looking cute and being sustainable, whatever you’re doing. It’s for the everyday athletes – the people who are sore but can’t remember why, or who don’t plan on working out but want to be prepared just in case. And because there’s no reason you can’t look good while working out (or not), Ref Active is made with Reformation’s signature flirty cuts, like one shoulder and V neck tops, and includes things like bike shorts, bodysuits, and crop tops. The collection comes in two different fabrications – EcoMove is for the HIIT class you planned after work, and EcoStretch is for making an excuse and canceling. The collection is sustainably made with REPREVE, which uses 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles, and is GRS & Oeko-Tex Certified. Traceable fiber print technology certifies it is recycled, meaning it’s 100% traceable from plastic to polyester each step of the way. This includes the raw material, the yarn and mill, and the finished goods facility. REPREVE calculates the # of bottles recycled and the savings in greenhouse gas emissions, water and energy for each item. Producing the fabric uses 45% less energy, 20% less water, and 30% less GHG Emissions than virgin polyester. Ref Active will be available in sizes 0 – 3X on TheReformation.com and prices range from $48-$118.
