Tayshia Adams rewarded one suitor for fighting for her love on 'The Bachelorette' -- but the other guys were far from thrilled about it!
Noah Erb definitely caught Tayshia Adams‘ eye on the Nov. 17 episode of The Bachelorette. Noah was one of the four men who came into the show after Clare Crawley left, so there was already some tension between him and the original guys. The tension was intensified when Noah took it upon himself to participate in a group date that he wasn’t initially invited on.
The group date required the participants to wrestle each other, while the men who weren’t on the date watched from the sidelines. Chasen Nick and Ed Waisbrot were set to fight in the final round, but Ed backed out due to fear that he would upset a previous shoulder injury. Chris Harrison asked if anyone else wanted to step in, and Noah hopped into the ring to go for it.
Although he lost the match to Chasen, Noah definitely made a statement with his bold move. In fact, Tayshia was so impressed that she invited him to come to the after-party. The men who were actually invited on the group date didn’t take too kindly to this, as it meant they’d have to split their time with an extra person. “I think there’s a little bit of saltiness amongst a few of the guys towards [Noah],” Spencer Robertson admitted.
However, Noah clearly did not care. “I hate to say I don’t care about their feelings, but I really don’t,” he said in a confessional. “My time with Tayshia is precious and I’m not here to mess around. I’m here to take risks.” When the date happened, Noah made sure he was the first one to pull Tayshia aside, and he continued to win her over. “I told you from the start, Im going to come here and be myself and be open and fight for what I want,” he explained. “If that’s something you’re into, it’ll work out. If it’s something you’re not, then I’d rather not waste our time.”
Tayshia definitely felt like things were working, and she proved it by leaning in to give Noah a kiss. “Every time I’ve talked to Noah, he’s surprised me,” Tayshia said. “Even if he looks absolutely ridiculous, he owns it.” Still, Tayshia also connected with Brendan Morais on the group date. She even admitted she could “see [herself] ending up with him.” Overall, the date went great in Tayshia’s eyes, but at the end of the night, she still felt most connected to Noah — and she gave him the rose!
Considering Noah wasn’t even supposed to be on the date, this definitely rubbed the other men the wrong way. “I really don’t have any respect for that dude anymore,” Jordan Chapman revealed. “He just has zero class.” Meanwhile, Ben Smith was extremely disappointed, as he didn’t get any one-on-one time with Tayshia during the date. He tried to pull her away at the end, but she had already made up her mind that Noah was getting the rose.
“I want someone that’s going to fight for me, that’s eager to talk to me,” Tayshia explained. “And I know there are some guys here who feel exactly that way.” Now, the guys will have to wait and see whether Noah gets a second date this week after crashing the first one — but we’ll have to wait until next week’s episode to find out!
