Boo! It’s Halloween, the most wonderful time of the year for everyone whose heart bleeds black and orange. It’s the time of Hocus Pocus, of scary music, and, if you’re like Kylie Jenner, going all out with the Halloween decorations. While the 2020 spooky season is unlike any other, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, that’s not stopping some of your favorite celebrities from dressing up. After all, Halloween is all about wearing scary masks, so why not incorporate some PPE in your Trick-or-Treating getup? It’s the best way to stay safe, so you don’t have to social distance yourself from some candy.

Some celebs, like Kandi Burruss, Vanessa Hudgins, and Bella Thorne, couldn’t wait for the 31st to dress up and shared their costumes ahead of the holiday. Others decided to wait until it was Halloween proper to show off their outfits. It’s bound to be a scream of a Halloween, so check out all the outfits below.

Emily Ratajkowski

Pregnant Emily Ratajkowski, 29, had the perfect costume! The Inamorata designer copied Demi Moore‘s iconic 1991 Vanity Fair cover where she posed nude, pregnant at the time with her daughter Scout. Emily even got a short black wig to recreate Demi’s look at the time, adding black lingerie and a white blouse. Her growing baby bump was on full display in the photos, which captured her glow. The costume got Demi’s seal of approval, as the actress even re-posted Emily’s photo on her own Instagram story.

Vanessa Hudgens

“THE BLACK WIDOW,” Vannessa Hudgens captioned the photo she posted to her Instagram on Oct. 9. The 31-year-old High School Musical alum was one of the first major stars to get in the Halloween mood. In the photo, she looked like an R. A. Maguire painting come to life. With a Vampira-inspired corset and a look that could kill, Vanessa’s outfit was the perfect way to get into the Halloween mood.

Halle Berry

Halle Berry, 54, and beau Van Hunt went all out! The adorable couple added some serious spook with their Halloween face makeup, but joked they didn’t know exactly what they were going as. “Don’t know who the hell we supposed to be, but we doing it! Happy Halloween!! #Calaveras #DiaDeLosMuertos,” she wrote in her caption on the posts, which were taken outdoors. Halle’s makeup was particularly ornate with several crystal sneakers!

Kris Jenner

KarJenner momager Kris Jenner, 64, slays every Halloween — and 2020 was no exception! The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star revealed she dressed up as Jack Skellington from The Nightmare Before Christmas on Oct. 31! The costume was very “Kris” with the pinstripe black-and-white suit, and her face make-up was spot on. “This is Halloween #JackSkellington,” she captioned a hysterical video of herself driving an all-white vehicle of some sorts.

Kelly Ripa

With Halloween falling on a Saturday this year, daytime talk shows had to celebrate on Friday, Oct. 30. Kelly Rippa, who always seems to step up her game whenever October rolls around, gave a preview of her Joe Exotic costume on Oct. 26. She had the bleach-blonde mullet, the mustache, and the general skeezy look of the Tiger King star locked down. For those who want to dress up like the controversial figure (who is arguable the biggest meme or 2020) or his nemesis, Carole Baskin, here are a few DIY guides here and here.

Celine Dion

Celine Dion, 52, swapped out her glam gowns for her Nanny McPhee costume! Dressed as Emma Thompson‘s character from the 2005 film, the Canadian singer looked straight out of the movie in a velvet dress, turtleneck and gray hair. She posed outside for a photo then added a video that showed her walking down the hallway in character. “No tricks, only treats…. Happy Halloween everyone! Stay safe! – Celine xx…,” she wrote, also captioning the photo in french.

Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos

The couple that dresses up together stays together! Kelly rocked a whole new costume alongside husband Mark Consuelos, 49, as the pair mocked the “how it started, how it’s going” trend. In the first photo, they were dressed as fairy tale royalty and in the next, things took a gothic turn!  “A costumed how it started, how it’s going, and i cropped at the crotch you thirst buckets. All trick, no treat. #halloween 2020,” Kelly captioned the double photo post on Oct. 31.

The Weeknd

The Weeknd, 30, was completely unrecognizable on Halloween! The Toronto-born star — née Abel Tesfaye — dressed up as Eddie Murphy‘s iconic character Sherman Klump from The Nutty Professor. With prosthetics and a fat suit, he more than committed to the look which he rocked at Kendall Jenner‘s star-studded Halloween bash. The photos and videos were hysterical from the night, including one of him ripping it up on the dance floor — plaid blazer and all. “best dressed,” he joked in his caption.

Ciara

Ciara, 35, morphed into Megan Thee Stallion, 25, in one epic Halloween video! The Goodies singer recreated Meg’s album art for “Girls In The Hood” where she rocked a pink top and fur. “MEG THEEEE STALLION,” Ciara wrote in her caption as Megan responded, “I Love you” with crying emojis. Ciara didn’t stop there, declaring “real hot girl s—” as she proceeded to show off her incredible twerking moves to the song “Hot Girl Summer” feat. Ty Dolla $ign.

Chrissy Teigen & John Legend

Chrissy Teigen, 34, and John Legend, 41, were so cute on Halloween! Just weeks after the devastating loss of their unborn son, the couple embraced the season as a ballerina and Spider-Man. Stunning in a white tutu, the Chrissy’s Court host stunned as she leaned down to kiss John on the couch (perhaps inspired by Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst‘s iconic 2002 smooch from the movie). “my spidey,” she joked in her caption. Their son Miles, 2, also got in on the action as a dinosaur!

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton, 39, is known for her multiple costume changes but this sexy red angel was a definite show stopper! The DJ rocked the bedazzled bodysuit ensemble for a night out on Oct. 30, and looked like a runway model for Victoria’s Secret. Keeping her blonde hair down, she accessorized with custom sunglasses by designer Jacqueline Rezak, owner of Rad + Refined, a dazzling choker, and a patent red pump. With her outfit complete, she headed to a party in Los Angeles.

Kourtney Kardashian

Ok Kourtney 😍 You are a halloween queen 🎃 @kourtneykardash pic.twitter.com/BtU5txXZAQ

Kourtney Kardashian, 41, was the cutest bug there ever was! The Poosh founder showed off her festive look in a series of selfies shared to her Instagram story on Oct. 31. “Peek a BOO!” she captioned a photo, showing off her festive orange nails she’s been rocking all week. The fitness maven looked incredible as she rocked a skintight black catsuit and wings!

Lizzo

Lizzo, 32, wins for creativity! The “Good As Hell” singer was a vibe as the fly that went viral on president Mike Pence‘s head after the vice presidential debate on Oct. 8. Rocking a leather and sequin body suit that read “VOTE” along with a pair of black wings, Lizzo looked fierce as she posed for a photo — including a hilarious edit that placed her on Mike’s white hair! “FLYYYYY AF !” she captioned the photo. Lizzo added a pair of white Stuart Weitzman mules and big bug-eyes on a head band.

Kandi Burruss

Who needs to dress up as a Tiger King when you can be a tiger? Actually, Kandi Burruss was more of a jaguar in the costume she showed off on Oct. 22. “Someone said they were having a costume party & I said “Purrrrrfect!” she said, showing off the animal print top, tight leather pants, and incredible makeup. She even donned a prosthetic to give her more of a cat-like face. Me-OW, Kandi. Kandi did it again with another epic costume with husband Todd Tucker, and kids, Ace, 4, and Blaze, 11 months, as they recreated looks from The Masked Singer‘s third season!

Courteney Cox

Courteney Cox, 56, hilariously spoofed herself on Halloween! The actress brought back her iconic short-bang look from the first Scream — which was released back in 1996 — with faux clip-in bangs that looked just like her mid-90s ‘do. Courteney appeared to have a look of horror on her face as someone dressed as Ghostface (perhaps her daughter Coco, 16, or boyfriend Johnny McDaid, 44) stood behind with scissors hovered in front of her forehead. “Not the bangs!!!!!!!! #scream #ghostface #halloween,” the Friends alum joked in her caption.

Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes & Madelaine Petsch

The ladies of Riverdale were a triple threat as none other than the Powerpuff Girls! Lili Reinhart, 24, Camila Mendes, 26, and Madelaine Petsch, 26, transformed into the ’90s cartoon icons while in Vancouver, Canada (where Riverdale is shot). The ladies looked adorable as they posed on a balcony at sunset, capturing gorgeous downtown and their costumes. “You asked… we delivered. Powerpuff Girls,” Lili captioned the post.

The Rock

There was bound to be at least on celebrity costume malfunction and the honor went to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, 48. The actor and former WWE star had planned to go as the great Mufusa from The Lion King, however, his costume didn’t quite fit! Instead, he made do with just the lion mane around his face and a white bucket for candy (even The Rock likes his sweets).

“I was all set to become the wisest king of all – MUFASA, buuuut unfortunately the costume didn’t quite fit my body,” he confessed in his Instagram caption on Sunday, Nov. 1. “But at least my Lion’s mane headpiece is beautiful with a dash of sexy and fits me PERFECT…Yup, if 2020 was a Halloween costume this would be it,” he joked. Despite the costume drama, he still enjoyed the spooky holiday! “Still had a great quarantine Halloween and the babies had a blast – hope you guys did as well,” he added,

Zooey Deschanel & Jonathan Scott

Headed to Hogwarts! Zooey Deschanel, 40, and Jonathan Scott, 42, proved they’re huge Harry Potter fans in their Gryffindor costumes, including the signature burgundy-and-yellow striped scarves and black robes. The Property Brother star went as Harry himself, adding the lightning scar and glasses, hilariously pointing the wand (made of holly and had a phoenix feather core, according to the books) at the camera. Jonathan’s brother Drew Scott, 42, and wife Linda Phan also posed for the photo in ’70s themed hippie costumes!

Bella Thorne

Bella Thorne lives every day like it’s a Halloween adventure, so it’s not a surprise that she showed her costume off early. “Fairy sisters,” she captioned the Oct. 19 post of her and Dani Thorne. Bella, 23, wore a purple feathered tutu, a bedazzled corset, and not much else. A few days later, she posed in a sexy take on Little Red Riding Hood. “Grandma doesn’t approve of my outfit,” she captioned the post that showed her latex bodysuit with deep cleavage. You better believe her outfit drew plenty of Big Bad Wolves in the comments section.

Stassi Schroeder & Beau Clark

Pregnant Stassi Schroeder, 32, and husband Beau Clark gave fans an “inside” look at their baby journey — and it was a tad graphic! Stassi used her growing baby bump as her costume, adding prosthetics to show her guts and a baby’s face to her belly. Meanwhile, Beau rocked a shirt that showed off his small and large intestines, hilariously adding a cap that read “Dad.” “Framing this for her nursery,” the pregnant Vanderpump Rules star wrote.
