Sam Champion, 61, is an award-winning journalist and weather anchor. He is most known for his work with ABC’s WABC-TV and Good Morning America. Sam was born in Paducah, KY, on August 13, 1961. After graduating from Fairfax high school in 1979, Sam went on to graduate from Eastern Kentucky University. He also is known for his work on 23.5 Degrees With Sam Champion on The Weather Channel.
Sam is married to his husband Rubem Robierb, 45, and they have been married since 2012. The couple first got married in New York City and then went on to celebrate their marriage once more in Miami, Florida. The pair met at a New Year’s Eve party in Miami in 2009 and shared vows in the beach city once again in 2012.
