Emmy Rossum, born Sept. 12, 1986, is an American actress known for her role as Fiona Gallagher on the series ‘Shameless.’ Emmy rose to prominence in the early 2000s. After a number of small roles in various TV series and films, she landed the role of Christine in the 2004 film adaptation of ‘The Phantom of the Opera.’ Emmy, who grew up taking opera lessons, earned a Golden Globe nomination for her work and went on to have a steady, successful career.
