Nikki Sixx is best known for co-founding and playing the bass in Mötley Crüe. He played around in a number of different bands first including London and Sister. After shopping around with different bands, he formed Mötley Crüe with drummer Tommy Lee. The band was best known for its hits “Kickstart My Heart,” “Home Sweet Home,” “Live Wire” and “Looks That Kill.” Their iconic heavy metal sound was a major part of the rock movement that had gone from controversial to mainstream by that point.
As far as his personal life goes, Nikki has dated many A-listers including Denise Richards and Kat Von D. He has been married three times. He first wed Brandi Bandt in 1989 and had three kids together: Storm Brieanne Sixx, Decker Nilsson Sixx and Gunner Nicholas Sixx. He then moved on to Donna D’Errico in 1996. During their 11-year marriage, they had one kid, Frankie Sixx together. Now, he is happily married to Courtney Sixx. They share an adorable two-year-old named Ruby.
