Kristen is best known as a journalist. Originally from Philadelphia, PA, she wanted to be a journalist since she was six-years-old and after graduating from Harvard College in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts, she started her impressive career.
One of her first jobs in the journalism field was as an intern for ‘TODAY’ in 1997. She went on to get her first on-air job at KRCR in Redding, CA and worked for various networks before getting the opportunity to work for NBC News. During her time on NBC News, she’s worked as a White House correspondent and filled in on popular shows such as ‘NBC Nightly News’ and those on MSNBC. She also occasionally filled in on ‘Weekend TODAY.’
On Jan. 10, 2020, it was officially announced that Kristen would be signing on as co-anchor on ‘Weekend TODAY’ alongside Peter Alexander.
