Jeff Goldblum (born on October 22, 1952, in West Homestead, Pennsylvania) is an American actor. His career started with a small role in the 1974 film Death Wish and skyrocketed from there. Jeff went on to star or play key roles in several Hollywood hits including The Fly, Independence Day, The Lost World, The Big Chill and Jurassic Park. He has also had parts in several Wes Anderson films including The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and The Grand Budapest Hotel. Jeff ventured into television in 2009 playing Detective Zach Nichols for the eighth and ninth seasons of the USA Network’s Law & Order: Criminal Intent.

Jeff has been maried three times, first with actress Patricia Gaul from 1980 to 1986. After co-staring with Geena Davis in The Fly, they fell in love and were married from 1987-1990. Jeff got engaged to Olympic gymnast Emilie Livingston in the summer of 2014 and married that November. The couple had son, Charlie Ocean, in July 2015.
