Ernie Reyes (born Ernest E. Reyes Jr. on January 15, 1972, in San Jose, California) is an American actor and martial artists. The son of actor and stuntman, Ernie Reyes, Sr., Ernie grew up in a family of anthletes. By the age of 6, Ernie had joined his father’s martial arts team, West Coast Demo. However, Ernie followed his father’s footsteps into the film industry. He made his debut in the 1985 cult martial arts fim, The Last Dragon. The same year, he shared the screen with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Brigitte Nielsen in Red Sonja. Ernie also was the star of the Disney television series, Sidekicks. However, Ernie breakout came in 1991 as the character Keno in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze. His other notable appearances include Surf Ninjas, Rush Hour 2 and in The Rundown, with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. In addition to acting, Ernie has done motion capture stunts and fight choreography. Professionally, he has a 3-0 record in the MMA fighting league, Strikeforce.

In June 2015, Ernie revealed he was in need of a kidney transplant and required help paying his hospital bills. In six days of announcing his GoFundMe campaign, Ernie raised 38k of the needed 75k.
